Birthday!
Today is my 21st birthday. I don't feel any different, but maybe I will after 8:38 AM, when I'll REALLY be 21 years old.
My homepage at Ugla, the University of Iceland's students' and teachers' website, greeted me with a QuickTime music player playing a jazzy piano version of the birthday song, when I signed in after midnight. At first I didn't realise where the music was coming from, and why that music player was in the middle of my homepage. Then I listened more closely, and realised that Ugla was wishing me a happy birthday! How neat! |

Free at last
Yes, I am free at last. Had my last exam yesterday. SO happy to be done! Summer holidays, here I come. Today was actually a very sunny day, so I spent most of it outside (especially since I go back to work tomorrow and am gonna have to be inside allllll day). And naturally I wore a skirt! It's so fun to wear a skirt and not be freezing my legs off. And it was a flowy skirt - even more fun. Oh, my soul, still capable of simple joys :)
I did get a bad headache, though. It might have been because of the couple of celebratory glasses of wine I had last night, but it was kinda late in the afternoon. Weird.
Well I'm tired and my brain's all worn out. Not able to think of anything interesting or even a tiny bit inspired to write. So I say good night.
