News
Lotsa news. Don't have much time, as I'm on a school computer waiting for my friend to finish class so we can have lunch together, so here's the short version:
Three weeks ago today I moved to a tiny studio flat on the uni campus. The rent is kinda high considering that the average rental market price has gone down recently, but I'd been on the waiting list for this for 1 1/2 years, and I'll take (almost) anything to be free! (Sorry mum, love you all, but it's nice to have some privacy :) )
Going to Ísafjörður for the Easter holidays today, to visit my dad and his family. Not to mention the awesome annual (free!) music festival in Ísafjörður. The weather is very good for flying today, I was checking the schedule on the airline website and it looks that some flights from other parts of the country have been quicker than planned! Unfortunately I've heard that the weather won't be as good tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, which isn't good because Edda is flying up on Thursday. But then again, I heard this on Sunday, and as everyone knows, weather in Iceland changes every five minutes and it's hard to predict further in time than than the next few hours. If even that is possible.
I also have a new step-nephew, son of Sandra Bergmann, my dad's wife's daughter. He's only three weeks old and will be Christened on Good Friday. Do not know his name yet.
